My Techpriest days are behind me, but I still dabble. These days I've got a laptop which I tend to get into the guts of every now and then to fiddle with. I can't resist. But I feel more comfortable with a laptop these days so I don't feel chained in one place. And it'll be time for a new laptop soon. I'm thinking one of the Asus G73 series.
Also around my desk at this moment in time... my headset, a Tudor Mint Myth & Magic dragon figurine, a Dowman wolf plush toy, the Edge of Destiny novel, the BRD version of How to Train Your Dragon, along with a bowl of Special K cereal and a bottle of water!
I'm not going to shoot pictures of this though, as I don't want to reveal my mess and I'm hesitant to link my online identity with my RL one.
Nice setup, I need to get a better monitor, still using a HP 17" LCD from 4 years ago.
Looks great tbh, but why arent you using the 3 screen setup anymore? I'm still thinking of doing it like that..
Honestly, while eyefinity was amazing it has one tragic flaw. The fish-eye effect, were the far edges things appear distorted and "short and fat". Also the fish-eye effect is most prominent in RPG style games so it kind of killed it for me. In racing or shooters games its almost non existent, I guess game dev's of RPGs dont take the time to optimize for multi-display gaming.
So I opted for the Dell u3011 ( 30in @ 2650x1600 resolution ) and omg, its amazing. I would definitely suggest it over a multi-display set up any day now.
Ill give eyefinity another try in a few years maybe they will have the fish-eye fixed.
This was the release of TOR, for GW2 I will have to think of something even more epic (proly go Kilkenny instead of the Heineken)
