It started with a screencap and a dream (or maybe just a really bored idle weeknight after class!).

I’ve been blogging about my gaming mishaps for almost five years now, starting with Guild Wars Classic and expanding into different games, genres, styles, and flavors of what it means to be an online gamer. It’s more than a hobby these days; it’s a lifestyle.

Like so many other online collections of internet tomfoolery, a personal record of misadventures has evolved into something a lot more with hopes of moving on to something even better. There are real friendships forged, there is profit and business booming in the industry, there are massive conventions and expos that draw thousands upon thousands of like-minded adventurers.

While my content has expanded to include a lot of the cultural aspects of gaming, I continue to write, review, and recount on Guild Wars: it was the first MMO I ever played and to see it come so far from that first fateful open beta weekend senior year of high-school to what we can expect to see from Guild Wars 2 next year has been an incredible joyride. Being involved with other projects like Guild Mag and the GM-Podcast has only increased my excitement for this new installment.

I will continue to cover both GW:Classic and GW:2 as I always have: with funny captions, doodles, and healthy dose of affectionate teasing, and I hope to share these thoughts and adventures with the rest of this enthusiastic and quirky community!
