Finally it's here, a true asset (fansite) kit. I know most people weren't waiting for this, but anyone even remotely interested in developing anything with Guild Wars 2 graphics probably would.

It seems I was overly enthusiastic about this, while after downloading the HD pack, the only thing I found was 5 high quality wallpapers and some guidelines on how to use the gw2 logo.

Good thing is, something is included what might make people think it could be the box art of GW2 :)

Am still awaiting a true fansite kit with new models and rendered characters .

I made that mistake too. The asset kit includes stuff that isn't in the HD kit. So you probably want both.

The Guild Wars 2 Asset Kit contains logos, concept arts, screenshots and the current Game FAQ. The HDGuild Wars 2 Asset Kit offers high-resolution PSD files.

No models or rendered characters but there is some new and higher resolution artwork included that should make it useful.
