Guild Wars 2 Limited Beta Test Begins Today! | ArenaNet

ArenaNet invited a bunch of players of press sites all over the world to test and cover some stories on Guild Wars 2. From the 20th onwards, those players will have their NDA lifted and are free to post recorded footage of gameplay. It marks the true beginning of professional made gameplay footage, and will cause the Guild Wars 2 hype to hype where nobody has hyped before!

Hundreds of invited players and press from around the world will be logging into Guild Wars 2 for a beta test weekend of high adventure, exploration, in-depth personal stories, and teeth-rattling combat. We love playing our game as much as we love showing it off to our fellow gamers, so damn near everyone at ArenaNet will be logging in this weekend to play alongside our beta testers.

Which means we'll have plenty of professional gameplay footage on the 20th!

Larger scale betas will happen in march and april!

TotalHalibut a.k.a TotalBiscuit of Youtube said he would commentate over 24hours of footage made by two of his employees (It's a 5 man business!). Since they're quite closely nit and much will be covered, I can imagine that all the classes will be studied with a fine comb with what is available.
