My name is Thekk Kheelan, I am the GM for The Mistwalkers. I have been around these MMO's since I got hooked on DAoC a few years back. I have been enjoying these games since then. :)

Both I and my Guild are looking forward to Guild Wars 2 and the community that surrounds it.

I never did play DAoC but I've heard quite alot about it. I didn't play anything quite as fancy as DAoC for my first adventure into online gaming. Mine was Mir2, a Korean Grindfest, haha. Ahh... good times.

Hahahahaha, Legend of Mir and DAoC in the same thread? Smacks of awesome. Man the former game was so ******ed... didn't last long on my PC... in terms of which manner of RvsR I preferred overall, it's a pretty tough call between Lineage II and DAoC tbh... although I've never been a fan of zerging which is what most siege-capable MMOs amount to unfortunately... I have yet to see a game where this preferred manner of approaching the mechanic was not so. Hopefully GW2 will prove me wrong, but I'll always be a fan of small group skirmishes over the 'grand scheme of things' when it comes to open world.
